Steps
- Press firmly — Place a clean cloth on the wound and press hard, right on the bleeding point.
- Keep pressure — Don’t peek. Add more cloth on top if it soaks through and keep pressing.
- Get help — For severe bleeding, call 911 and keep pressure until they take over.
